C.R.O.W.N.  Calling Real Ordinary [Wo]men NOW!

Hello! My name is Ann M. Miesner. I am a wife of forty years, mother of four and grandmother of six. My husband Jim retired from Fort Scott KS Community College as president in 2007. My job was recently eliminated at the local hospital, accounts receivable department. That was a good thing, though, because I knew God had called me to do what I’m doing today––inviting women and Godly couples to a C.R.O.W.N. Conference: Calling Real Ordinary [Wo]men Now!

On September 8, 2001, about thirty women from Fort Scott, many from our workplace, started a town-wide, women’s group called Women with a Passion for Jesus. Our theme Scripture was 2 Chron. 7:14, “If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and will heal their land.” We obeyed this command and prayed for our city, families, and military, while giving our testimonies at each meeting. Out of those stories grew a Bible study workbook on the Hebrew names of God that we studied at each meeting. The Bible study is based on the fact that when we know who God is, we grow to know who we are. Tremendous things happened as we honored God’s name and His word, which Psalm 138:2 says He exalts above all things.

The fortieth and last testimony recounted in the book is from a young lady named Misty, of Parsons, KS. In 2004, she gathered a team of four women together. They called themselves CROWN—Calling Real Ordinary Women Now. Through their belief that God wanted to do something big through their lives, He did, and provided $14,500 in a four-week time period, for all four them to go to Africa to speak and minister. They used this name temporarily, for when they came back home, they went to their separate towns and lives. So, in January of 2010, God made it clear that is was time to take our message on the road, God impressed upon me, “this new name I’ve given for your conferences.”

Our conferences are not designed to get you to go to Africa, but to motivate you to reach out to your neighbor––at work, at home or both––people close to you. For you see, I knew that unless I could tell my own neighbors about the vision of the Rapture the Lord gave me in 1995, God could not and would not bless any speaking thing or anything I would ever try to do––and believe me, I’ve tried to do a lot of things. To my great surprise, I found that those neighborhood Bible groups were exactly THE thing He wanted to bless through me and the women He brought into my life.

I believe God may have been nudging you to start a Bible study group at work or at home. You yearn for people to know who they really are; you want to be obedient to do your part in fulfilling the Great Commission to go and make disciples, but you just don’t know how. You know Jesus is coming soon and want to be prepared. This conference I’m inviting you to, will do just that, prepare you for Jesus’ return while bringing in the end-time harvest––from your friends, relatives and neighbors. God’s harvest season for America is here! Will you not see it? Will you not comprehend it? The time when we will see His glory cover the earth as the water that covers the sea is here right NOW. I believe we will soon see Isaiah 59:19 come to pass, “From the west, men will fear the name of the Lord, and from the rising of the sun, they will revere his glory. For he will come like a pent-up flood that the breath of the LORD drives along.”

It was like a t.v. screen where I watched the Body of Jesus Christ, which resembled a huge teddy bear, turn in unison, take slow motion steps, start to walk, then run from one side of the U.S. to the other, east then west, until it literally took off just as gradually as an airplane.
