The Hebrew word for blessing means God’s favor, benefits, happiness and peace. What are these blessings poured out for us that we can expect from our Heavenly Father, El Shaddai? Who can receive them and what are the conditions to receiving them? The blessings are: increase, fruitfulness, promise of a homeland, deliverance from bondage, and protection. We review how Scripture relates each of these to El Shaddai through Denise’s continued story.
We find that God alone is our only source of supply and security––not the job, not parents, 401K’s or retirement plans, and not even a millionaire who happens by our door––only El Shaddai. Why are we blessed and how do we manage prosperity when it does come?
